Woo, I’m so excited you are here today for the first TBT: Travel Edition linkup with Carly and I! Let’s get right to it!
When thinking about what I wanted to share today, I decided to blog about a trip I took in 2007… guys that was almost 8 YEARS AGO!!! Wow! Get ready to see some oldddddd school pictures of Rachael 😉
Some context on the trip– I was really involved in Girl Scouts all throughout grade school and even High School. I was lucky in that I got to take a BUNCH of really, really cool trips (including the Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, and Europe… I plan on highlighting some of these trips in future months of our linkup!)
I also have a confession to make; because this trip was so long ago, I don’t really remember a ton of details. I have them written in a journal that is buried somewhere in my parents’ house, so I’m going to let the pictures do most of the talking! Also, wanna know something crazy? These pictures weren’t taken with a digital camera- they were taken with a good old fashioned point and shoot with a real film roll. Isn’t that sweet!?
We stayed in Alaska for two weeks, and went camping. Yes, like tent camping. I remember that Alaska was nothing like I thought it would be– it was not ice cold and was so, so pretty. We did lots of hiking and outdoorsy things.
